Communicating environmental impacts on water quality, availability and use (ComEnvir)

January 2011

The project aims to narrow the gap between environmental research focusing on water (resources, water quality, pollution and biodiversity issues) sponsored by the European Union (EU) and European citizens. The project will communicate results and activities of environmental research with two specific target groups: teachers and students as primary target group, and the general public as the second target group. Within the project, a knowledge package will be created aiming to serve teachers as a resource and including a book, films, FAQs, news, background reading materials, a glossary and links. Effective dissemination measures to communicate environmental research to the general public include broadcast media, DVDs and internet films.

For more information please see the ComEnvir website.
